Terri McLain, EA, Accountant

Terri McLain, EA, is an Accountant, Financial Advisor, Retirement Planning Advisor, and QuickBooks Pro Advanced Advisor. She is the owner and CEO of TDK Financial Center, Inc., TDK Financial Services and TDK Properties, and is a 36-year veteran in the tax, accounting, retirement, and financial field.


Her early client base experienced strong expansion with the purchase of Zapton and Associates in 1998 and Fair Saddler and Associates in 2009. Solid growth continues and includes a strong business base and individual, trust and estate clients.

Since 1999, Terri has held licensing at the federal level by the IRS as an Enrolled Agent. As a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, she achieved NAEA National Tax Practice Institute Fellow status. This highest level of distinction in representation received directly from the US Treasury, provides Terri the right to protect and defend her clients’ rights in matters of IRS tax law and procedures.

Terri was a founding member of the Michigan Society of Enrolled Agents. She is also a member of the following organizations where she has presided, sat on Boards, and continues to maintain active affiliation:

As a past member, Terri still maintains interest in and long-time friends at the Rotary Club of Southgate and the Southgate Downtown Development Authority. She remains available as a speaker and has been a guest speaker for the Michigan Society of Enrolled Agents (MiSEA) and IRS Forum.

While not at work Terri is still hard working. She volunteers at the Detroit Rescue Mission and for Meals on Wheels and, with a teacher’s heart, is an advocate for women’s financial education and enrichment. In her downtime, Terri hits the gym, enjoys bike riding, finds a few minutes to read for fun, and loves to spend time with her family.

Nick Kiser, CPA

Nick Kiser, CPA, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Baker College, Michigan.


With over eight years working in the accounting field, Nick learned from ground-up every aspect of the business, and under the watchful eye of TDK Financial Services owner Terri McLain, he discovered his own niche.

Nick specializes in compiling and reading complicated numbers and producing specialized tax returns, financial statements, annual reports, business startup registrations, internal auditing, financial planning, forensic accounting, and other specific functions of a CPA. Nick serves all TDK clients along with specific business clients, including:

  • Professional Services
  • Health Care
  • Manufacturing and Distribution
  • Sports, Arts, and Entertainment

When away from work, Nick likes to learn new things, whether in the accounting field or far from it. He enjoys spending time with his family and considers nice sunny days perfect for lounging in the pool.

Patti Pasiuk, Client Services

Patti has been with TDK Financial Services, Inc., since January 2013. From being the receptionist who knows everybody’s name to the “everybody knows her name” assistant, she supports staff and clients during the long days of tax season and every other season. Patti is the social and focal point of the office.

Patti helps keep everything in order, on order and organized. She answers and returns phone calls and schedules appointments with a smile in her voice that’s real. Her years of experience with the firm help her understand the industry and clients’ needs.

When away from work, Patti enjoys Southgate, hometown of 53 years, and she especially looks forward to time with her family and twin grandchildren.  Patti loves the random road trip, boating, camping, traveling, Nascar, and shopping for shoes.

Terri Ann Novikoff, Account Manager

Terri Ann acquired 35 years’ experience in a large, multi-location car dealership as bookkeeper, accountant and corporate accounting manager. Her tenure and experience ran the industry gamut in accounting and financial reporting of corporate dealership and distribution.

Handling full-service accounting clients is Terri Ann’s expertise. She works closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations and handles their business finances and accounting to help them achieve their goals.

When not working, Terri Ann enjoys baking, swimming and spending time with her family. She has lived in Southgate for ten years and plans on staying!
